Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status through virtual meetings to identify issues and therapeutic needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Engage with clients in one-on-one therapy sessions, offering evidence-based strategies and tools to support their mental health journey.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions when necessary, promoting peer support and shared experiences amongst clients.

• Maintain regular follow-up sessions to track clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, providing referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists when appropriate, ensuring comprehensive care.

• Document all interactions and updates in the EHR system, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines pertaining to client confidentiality and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a member of the Alvita team, you will work with a diverse clientele dealing with a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to chronic anxiety, depression, trauma history, eating disorders, and substance use issues. Our commitment to cultural competence means you will engage with patients from various backgrounds, helping to ensure that each individual feels understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders and the principles of evidence-based treatment approaches.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner.
\n
• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities with a calm and measured approach in difficult situations.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary for building rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as other relevant computer applications.
\n
• A strong commitment to maintaining professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality standards.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly preferred, along with familiarity with virtual therapy tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
