Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth preliminary interviews, ensuring thorough documentation from the initial client consultation through to the conclusion of treatment, thereby promoting continuity of care.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, using standardized assessments and clinical judgment to inform treatment decisions.
\n
• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans for a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailored to meet unique needs.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness approaches, and solution-focused strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to the treatment plans based on client feedback, outcomes, and evolving needs.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, physicians, nurses, and social workers, creating integrated intervention strategies that enhance client outcomes.
\n
• Manage referrals to other providers and specialties, ensuring clients receive comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of mental health.

• Identify and proactively address barriers to recovery, employing strategies that empower clients and their families in the treatment process.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in navigating mental health challenges, offering guidance and education about the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including adults and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and you will be responsible for tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their cultural and personal contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is needed.

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating proficiency in effective therapeutic techniques and client interaction.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate client records.
\n
• Knowledge of underlying physical health conditions and addiction disorders that may affect mental health.
\n
• Understanding best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
