Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aiming at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and improved mental health outcomes.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to address trauma-related conditions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where patients can process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote their healing journey.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to enhance our holistic treatment plans.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support to patients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and available resources to empower them on their healing journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and training on trauma-informed care to continuously enhance our therapeutic practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on serving individuals who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse clientele, providing tailored support to help them navigate the complexities of their mental health challenges and celebrate their progress towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in Texas.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies, with an emphasis on trauma-informed approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling capacity.

• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR and TF-CBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
