Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather comprehensive patient histories and formulate appropriate treatment interventions.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient, focusing on strategies for trauma recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support clients in their recovery journey.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients navigate trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated, patient-centered care, optimizing treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in acute trauma-related situations, ensuring safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.
\n
• Maintain meticulous, accurate, and confidential electronic health records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, continuous professional education, and team meetings to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest trauma therapy research and best practices to continually improve treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus primarily on individuals impacted by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the chance to work closely with a diverse patient population, providing specialized therapeutic interventions tailored to their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) within the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and compassion-based skills are essential.
\n
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Ability to effectively work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership in therapy settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, ideally with a focus on trauma recovery.

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
