Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, emphasizing cultural sensitivity, to identify the unique needs and experiences of each patient.

• Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that are responsive to individual cultural contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a wide range of mental health concerns and fostering resilience.

• Cooperate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and integrated care.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during mental health emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health challenges, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their care.

• Maintain precise and secure patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case discussions, team meetings, and cultural competency training to constantly improve clinical skills and departmental collaboration.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health therapy, with a particular emphasis on cultural considerations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on individuals from diverse backgrounds, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and various immigrant populations. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in New Jersey as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, with a pronounced focus on culturally competent care.

• Proven experience in providing culturally responsive therapy—both individually and in group settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
