Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments that explore clients' trauma histories and guide the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Create and implement tailored therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for clients to process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.
\n
• Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure cohesive treatment approaches for each patient.

• Be available for crisis intervention, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about the effects of trauma, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards to ensure the highest level of care.

• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development initiatives centered around trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed about the latest research, modalities, and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance treatment quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients who are trauma survivors, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative issues. Each session serves to foster a safe and nurturing environment, where clients can openly discuss their experiences and work toward healing.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodology.

• Demonstrated ability to enact trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Capability to stay composed in high-pressure situations, facilitating a calm environment for clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant digital tools for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While we require at least two years of clinical experience post-licensure, preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in trauma therapy and an established track record of successful client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
