Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate mental health diagnoses in accordance with DSM-V standards.
\n
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with best practices for each diagnosis, providing therapy and supportive counseling as needed.
\n
• Deliver cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to individuals, families, and groups, adapting interventions to suit varying settings and needs.
\n
• Respond adeptly to crisis situations, prioritizing patient needs and coordinating appropriate services for effective interventions.
\n
• Utilize therapeutic models such as behavior modification, cognitive behavioral therapy, and brief therapy during sessions.
\n
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants to foster their professional growth.
\n
• Develop cross-system plans and maintain collaborative relationships with community professionals involved in the treatment of shared clients.
\n
• Facilitate training and share knowledge on clinical topics, contributing to both team development and community education efforts.
\n
• Perform thorough intake sessions, assessing initial client treatment needs and completing Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments for those with complex or multiple diagnoses.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily focused on supporting mothers and individuals from marginalized backgrounds, many of whom face unique socioeconomic challenges that affect their mental health. Through community engagement and culturally responsive care, you will play a critical role in helping these clients navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent licensure in Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required to practice in this role.

• Proficient ability to manage a sizeable caseload effectively while coordinating with large healthcare providers and support staff.

• A demonstrated passion for making a positive impact in the field of behavioral health.
\n
• Competency in utilizing electronic medical records efficiently.
\n
• Strong electronic mail communication skills alongside proficient computer skills in various Windows applications.
\n
• Knowledge of co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders is highly valued.
