Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma narratives and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and enhancing emotional resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate safe processing of traumatic experiences.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, equipping patients with coping skills and promoting healing within a group dynamic.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during trauma-related emergencies or escalated situations.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available for additional support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment planning.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that focus on best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated on current research, therapeutic techniques, and trends in trauma therapy to continually enhance service efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse clientele, providing trauma-informed care to adults and adolescents grappling with varying degrees of trauma. This population may include individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and related mental health challenges, all of whom require a tailored therapeutic approach to support their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is strongly preferred.
\n
• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment methods, and resilience-building techniques.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is a plus.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, providing a stable presence for patients.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and basic computer applications essential for patient documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
