Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize traumatic recovery and foster resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate patient healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated patient care, sharing insights and resources effectively.

• Offer crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and understood.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the various resources available to support their journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development events focused on trauma-informed care practices, enhancing your skills and knowledge continually.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to ensure the highest standard of care in your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary patient population includes adults and adolescents who have experienced various forms of trauma. Many of our clients may be struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety disorders, and emotional distress stemming from past experiences. We emphasize a compassionate approach to therapy, allowing clients to feel heard, validated, and empowered as they work through their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• An accredited Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Robust knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities specific to trauma recovery and resilience-building.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a non-judgmental, empathetic approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and managing mental health documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
