Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, diligently gathering client histories to inform customized treatment plans.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental wellness.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing strategies to help clients process trauma, cultivate coping mechanisms, and promote personal healing.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, adjusting strategies based on client needs.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and validated.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards in an electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to ongoing dialogues about best practices and trauma-informed care approaches.

• Stay abreast of advancements in the field through professional development and training, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Life Rhythm Psychotherapy Center, your primary focus will be on working with individuals who have experienced trauma. This includes survivors of abuse, neglect, and other significant life events that impact mental health. You will guide these individuals toward recovery by addressing their unique histories and facilitating trust in the therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Capability to establish rapport quickly, displaying excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and maintaining meticulous and confidential client documentation.
\n
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations while providing crisis intervention.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health treatment, ideally in trauma-focused therapy.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed intervention techniques.

• Experience delivering evidence-based psychological practices, such as EMDR and TF-CBT, with proven outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
