Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gather information regarding clients' histories and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Create and execute tailored treatment strategies aimed at facilitating recovery and enhancing resilience among trauma survivors.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for clients to process trauma and cultivate coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated treatment approaches for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in situations requiring urgent attention related to trauma.

• Educate clients and their families about the impacts of trauma and promote available resources to support recovery.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, participate in team meetings, and contribute to professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve adults facing challenges due to trauma and related disorders, including PTSD and complex PTSD. You will assist these individuals in navigating their paths to recovery by offering therapeutic support that fosters coping, resilience, and overall mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Arizona.

• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, displaying warmth and empathy in all client interactions.

• The ability to maintain composure under stress, exhibiting calmness in challenging situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.

• Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapy settings, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
