In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering resilience and recovery among our client base, primarily focusing on the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate clients' trauma history and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience in clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver high-quality interventions.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring clients receive immediate and effective help.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and support system.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development workshops focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research, treatment methodologies, and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including, but not limited to, survivors of abuse, neglect, and significant life events that have led to PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. The diverse backgrounds of our clients require a nuanced understanding of their unique experiences and needs, making your work not only impactful but also deeply rewarding.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications.

• Ability to thrive in high-stress situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
