Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will conduct sessions primarily through our secure Simple Practice platform, utilizing video conferencing and secure messaging to interact with clients. The work environment is designed to promote flexibility, allowing you to choose your hours and work from anywhere. As part of our organization, you will have a full clinical caseload established within the first 30 days, ensuring that you can focus on what you do best—helping clients grow and heal.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to determine clients’ mental health needs, strengths, and treatment goals.

• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual clients, focusing on therapies that may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and family systems therapy.

• Provide therapeutic interventions and ongoing support through virtual sessions, ensuring continuity of care and effective follow-up.

• Utilize clinical data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

• Engage in regular communication with clients via our secure platform, offering feedback, guidance, and crisis intervention as needed.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, including counselor support groups and continuing education opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Therapists at Intercare primarily work with a diverse range of clientele, including teenagers, adults, and couples facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will be essential in providing trauma-informed care, addressing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more, all while fostering a safe and affirming therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a mental health clinician in Texas (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrated skills in treatment planning and psychotherapy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a virtual setting.

• Proficiency with telehealth technology and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security in client communications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in telehealth settings is a plus, as is familiarity with evidence-based practices specific to mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive annual salary between USD 80,000 – 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
