This position is remote, allowing you to maintain a flexible work-life balance while still engaging deeply with patients through our outpatient model. You will be part of a collaborative team of professionals who prioritize a supportive and responsive approach to trauma care. Although responsibilities will primarily be performed from home, you might occasionally meet patients in the community or at designated facilities, adhering strictly to health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and needs, tailoring approaches based on individual circumstances.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, integrating evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that enable patients to process their trauma, explore coping strategies, and enhance their recovery journey.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated care for each patient, including crisis intervention during emergencies.

• Educate patients and families regarding trauma effects, healthy coping mechanisms, and available resources, fostering a supportive environment for healing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to comprehensive care and successful outcomes.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities centered on best practices in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients dealing with trauma and its consequences. This includes individuals experiencing PTSD, complex trauma histories, and other stress-related disorders. Your approach should be compassionate, non-judgmental, and rooted in evidence-based practices, ensuring every patient feels understood and supported on their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, demonstrating success in trauma-related modalities.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective interventions, along with experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies.
\n
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and patient-centered demeanor.
\n
• Ability to remain stable and effective in high-stress situations, showcasing resilience and adaptability.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a solid understanding of computer applications relevant to therapy practice.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of experience post-licensure is preferred, candidates with a strong foundational understanding of trauma therapies and interventions may demonstrate their abilities through advanced internships, volunteer roles, or similar experiences in mental health settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
