Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and clarify their mental health needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing emotional support and practical strategies to help patients process their trauma experiences.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to ensure an integrated care model that addresses all aspects of patients' well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and resources to those in need.

• Educate patients and their families on the effects of trauma, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our practice is individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and other associated psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
