In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in providing trauma-informed care to individuals navigating the challenges of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, strengths, and challenges, informing individualized treatment plans.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans that focus on facilitating trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing client-specific goals and strategies.

• Deliver diverse therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the needs of each client.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to provide a supportive space for clients to process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive immediate assistance as needed.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge and resources for healing.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation following legal and ethical guidelines, contributing to quality assurance and client care standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and significant life stressors. You will work with clients of various age groups and backgrounds, ensuring that treatment is culturally competent and responsive to their unique life circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Pennsylvania.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling, particularly in trauma-focused settings.
\n
• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proven expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, demonstrating a compassionate approach to client care.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with clients in a non-judgmental manner.

• A composed demeanor, capable of remaining calm and effective in high-stress situations.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools relevant to counseling practices.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is required, additional experience in diverse therapeutic modalities related to trauma recovery, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits\n
