This full-time remote position allows you to provide critical mental health support to individuals who have experienced trauma, all while benefiting from a telehealth model that enhances accessibility for our clients.

As a remote Telehealth facility, Bright Minds offers a flexible work environment that enables you to conduct therapy sessions via secure video conferencing platforms. Our setup ensures that you have the necessary tools and support to deliver high-quality mental health care from the comfort of your home. While our primary operation runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, we emphasize flexibility to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and current mental health status, informing subsequent treatment methodologies.

• Collaboratively create and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering resilience and aiding recovery from trauma.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing processes.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions that help clients articulate their experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional and psychological healing.
\n
• Work in partnership with psychiatrists, social workers, and other health providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and stabilizing their immediate mental health needs.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping methods, offering them the tools they need for ongoing support.

• Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, adhering to legal and ethical standards, and utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative environment focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Commit to continuous professional development, staying informed about the latest research in trauma therapy and incorporating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic serves a diverse client population, primarily consisting of individuals grappling with the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of ages and backgrounds, ensuring that your therapeutic approach is sensitive to the unique circumstances of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and their application in therapeutic settings.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement trauma-focused therapeutic strategies.

• Exceptional communication and empathy skills, fostering a compassionate atmosphere for clients.

• Proficient in the use of EHR systems and able to adapt to various health technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
