Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' unique trauma history, thereby informing their personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery, incorporating methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at processing trauma, enhancing coping strategies, and promoting psychological healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated, holistic care to our patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services as necessary, ensuring that patients receive the support needed during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources within the community.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines and contribute to case consultations and team meetings.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and research to stay current on the latest advancements in trauma therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with individuals who are seeking to understand their experiences of trauma and develop healthy coping strategies, making your contributions pivotal in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas is required.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a demonstrable commitment to non-judgmental and compassionate patient care.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and related technologies is essential for maintaining accurate patient records.

• Ability to thrive in high-stress situations and remain composed while providing essential support.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing trauma-focused therapies is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
