The position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work-life balance while still being an integral part of our dedicated team. Our work schedule generally spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather a comprehensive understanding of each patient's historical context and specific challenges.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building through a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve healing and growth.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and treatment team members to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and assistance during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calm and composed response to high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, available coping resources, and strategies that aid in managing symptoms.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your understanding of trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to ensure high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with traumatic experiences, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and co-occurring mental health disorders. We aim to accommodate a diverse patient population and provide holistic support catered to each individual’s unique journey to wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in relevant fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders along with experience implementing trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and effective therapeutic interventions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, characterized by compassion and a non-judgmental stance.

• Capacity to remain steady and collected during high-pressure situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

• A collaborative team mindset, willing to contribute and share knowledge within a multidisciplinary framework.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and USD 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
