This remote position allows mental health therapists the flexibility to work from home while utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly and enables long-distance therapeutic relationships, ensuring that our therapists can provide accessible care while maintaining necessary documentation through electronic health record (EHR) systems. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that conducts regular virtual meetings, promoting collaboration and providing essential support for each other.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate tailored treatment approaches, ensuring that therapy is adapted to each individual's needs.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth, regularly reviewing and adjusting these plans based on patient progress.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help patients process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions aimed at facilitating healing, encouraging patients to explore their feelings in a safe and nurturing setting.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health care professionals to deliver integrated, holistic care for our patients, ensuring that all aspects of their mental health are addressed.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate through their most challenging moments.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and helpful resources available to them, fostering a sense of agency and understanding.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing EHR systems effectively to track patient progress and treatment plans.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy and sharing insights with colleagues during case consultations and team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our therapy services is individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, requiring therapists to employ a culturally competent and empathetic approach to care. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally in trauma-informed care settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
