Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history, ensuring to identify the most effective treatment strategies tailored to their unique experiences.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, integrating evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic interventions to assist patients in processing their trauma and fostering coping mechanisms that contribute to healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to each patient’s care plan.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, equipping patients with immediate support as they navigate distressing situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey is required.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
