Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments to evaluate new patients and families as they enter our care.

• Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy according to the unique needs identified during assessments.
\n
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including billing information, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, to facilitate smooth patient care.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety protocols, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans that empower patients to maintain stable functioning.
\n
• Collaborate with patients to create discharge plans that set the foundation for ongoing wellness after therapy concludes.
\n
• Comply with all federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures specific to NEHS.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and education to maintain your licensure and grow your skill set.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to share insights and strategies with fellow team members, thereby enhancing collective patient care.

• Complete all licensure renewal and mandatory training to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve diverse clients in the Corpus Christi area who are facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your culturally sensitive approach will ensure that each patient feels understood and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. By utilizing strength-based methodologies, you will help clients recognize their abilities and resources, fostering resilience and positive coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that satisfies state licensure requirements.

• Licensure: Current licensure as a mental health therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Experience in outpatient mental health services is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and billing.

Compensation and Benefits\n
