Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs, to clients struggling with stress and anxiety.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify each client’s unique challenges, stressors, and goals, thereby personalizing mindfulness practices for their needs.
\n
• Facilitate guided mindfulness exercises, such as meditation and breathing techniques, to help clients enhance their self-awareness and emotional regulation.
\n
• Organize and lead group workshops and classes on mindfulness practices, stress management, and building resilience.
\n
• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns while promoting overall personal growth.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans that leverage mindfulness as a key component of therapy.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, interventions implemented, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development opportunities to deepen your expertise in mindfulness-based approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients in our outpatient setting, including individuals facing anxiety, stress-related disorders, and those seeking personal development through mindfulness practices. This position requires a deep understanding of varying mental health issues and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the distinct needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Experience in mindfulness practices is preferred, enhancing the ability to deliver MBSR effectively to clients.

• Strong communication skills, facilitating a calming therapeutic environment that fosters client openness and healing.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a commitment to client-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
