Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Rocky Meadow Counseling, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Diagnosing and providing therapy for various mental health disorders, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on client progress and feedback.

• Referring clients to community resources, treatment programs, and support initiatives that can augment their therapeutic experience and improve overall well-being.

• Educating clients and their families about mental health challenges and available resources, ensuring informed decision-making throughout the treatment process.

• Maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, while ensuring adherence to the standards of the Mental Health Practice Act.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to working with a diverse population that may include individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. You will be responsible for providing both individual and family therapy, which requires empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills to tailor your approach to individuals of varying backgrounds and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
