Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history, strengths, and challenges, and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and the overall mental wellness of patients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), effectively in your sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where patients feel secure sharing their experiences, developing coping strategies, processing trauma, and fostering interpersonal connections.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure the holistic treatment of all mental health concerns.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, assessing needs and referring to further resources as required.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, available resources, and the therapeutic process.

• Document patient progress meticulously and maintain confidentiality in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations, attend team meetings, and participate in professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continually improve the services we provide.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals overcoming trauma, particularly those impacted by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in supporting diverse patients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive care that acknowledges the complexities of different lived experiences. Your role is vital in fostering a nurturing space where patients can navigate their healing journeys with compassion and understanding.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating competencies in trauma-focused therapies.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment frameworks.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate, non-judgmental stance toward patients.

• A calm demeanor under pressure, maintaining professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a range of computer applications for documentation and case management.

• A commitment to teamwork and collaboration in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The offered salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
