Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, mental health status, and identify suitable intervention strategies.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans aimed at reducing trauma symptoms, fostering resilience, and enhancing coping mechanisms.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processing trauma while ensuring they acquire necessary coping strategies.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services, involving immediate support in trauma-related emergencies to stabilize and guide patients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other specialists within an integrated care framework to holistically address patient needs.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies focused on patient progress and care improvement.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions and continuing education focused on the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population includes individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex traumas, and dissociative disorders. Our focus is on creating a safe and empathetic therapeutic space tailored to each individual’s unique trauma experiences. You will work with a diverse demographic, providing culturally sensitive therapeutic support to empower patients on their paths towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders along with a demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
