Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and tailor treatment plans accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, addressing the unique needs of each patient.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals within our integrated care framework to provide a holistic approach to treatment.

• Respond to crisis situations with immediate intervention strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources, fostering a deeper understanding and empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a crucial role in helping these clients process their experiences, gain coping strategies, and ultimately move toward healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and the various trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
