Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients’ mental health needs and design personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to individuals, couples, and families, adapting your approach to suit diverse mental health concerns.

• Facilitate crisis intervention sessions for clients experiencing acute distress, demonstrating empathy and expertise in high-pressure situations.

• Collaborate with case managers and other professionals to provide coordinated care, ensuring all client needs are met holistically.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives that educate the public on mental health issues, aiming to reduce stigma and promote awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health therapist at Matriarch, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds. Our focus is on serving those affected by trauma and other mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to enhance your cultural competence while addressing a wide spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relational difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• An active, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with a diverse array of clients and foster trusting therapeutic relationships.

• A strong commitment to cultural competence and a sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of clients you will serve.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage your time effectively, ensuring accurate and prompt documentation and follow-ups.

• Experience in a community health setting, especially with populations affected by trauma.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
