Prevent Anxiety Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This crucial role focuses on providing specialized mental health care to individuals impacted by trauma, specifically post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This role is fully remote, allowing you to bring your skills and compassion directly to clients in the comfort of their homes. Our organization values work-life balance, and our therapists operate within a flexible work schedule, primarily from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories and identify effective treatment paths tailored to their needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Deliver therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing and growth.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional stability and healing.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for patients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services in a timely manner, offering support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and community resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards in all record-keeping practices.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills in trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who are survivors of trauma, encompassing a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. Many of our clients deal with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders that require sensitive, expert care. Your role will be pivotal in supporting their healing processes and promoting resilience through individualized treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated ability to provide trauma-informed care and strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to clinical practice.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with trauma patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
