Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the history of trauma experienced by patients and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Create individualized treatment strategies that concentrate on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, acquire effective coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care solutions.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related emergencies while maintaining composure under pressure.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and provide resources to aid in their healing journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops aimed at enhancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is essential.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment approaches, and resilience-building methodologies.

• Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possessing a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, with a focus on trauma-related therapies, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
