The role operates in a predominantly remote work setting, allowing for flexible engagement with clients while still maintaining close connections with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some required flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' trauma histories, crafting individualized treatment plans that reflect best practices in trauma recovery.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring treatments are personalized to the clients' needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients to process their experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and promote holistic healing.

• Closely collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and psychological stability.

• Educate clients and families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and support networks.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, while ensuring client confidentiality.

• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings and professional development activities aimed at advancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Keep abreast of the latest research and methodologies within the field of trauma therapy as a means to continuously improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center focuses on serving individuals who have been impacted by a variety of traumatic experiences, including those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work closely with a diverse patient population, enabling you to make substantial impacts in their recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

• At least two years of post-licensure counseling experience, demonstrating a proficiency in trauma-informed care approaches.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, relevant treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.

• Exceptional communication skills, along with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
