Work Environment\n

This position will be entirely remote, enabling flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a strong focus on client care. Our team collaborates in a supportive online environment, utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions. The work schedule primarily runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility will be required to meet patient needs. Our technology infrastructure includes integrated electronic health record (EHR) systems that facilitate documentation and case management.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, comprehensively evaluating patients’ trauma histories and specific needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to promote trauma recovery, resilience, and holistic client wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in clinical practice.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to address trauma-related issues, enhance coping strategies, and facilitate overall healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure a seamless, integrated approach to patient care.

• Respond to crises with appropriate interventions, offering support and stabilization during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to promote understanding and healing.

• Maintain diligent documentation and adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality is upheld at all times.

• Engage regularly in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development initiatives focused on the latest practices in trauma-informed care.

• Commit to continuous professional development by staying informed on emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals coping with the aftermath of traumatic experiences, including but not limited to survivors of abuse, neglect, natural disasters, and other forms of acute stress. Your expertise will assist in addressing complex trauma cases and fostering resilience in clients, ultimately guiding them through their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Massachusetts.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings, with a strong emphasis on trauma-specific interventions.

• In-depth understanding of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and approaches to resilience-building.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, backed by relevant clinical training.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment for clients.

• The ability to maintain composure and professionalism when faced with high-stress or crisis situations.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with telehealth practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
