Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history, summarizing findings to identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies, adapting as needed based on patient progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to enhance the healing process.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging open dialogue and providing guidance to help patients process their trauma experiences.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, tailoring treatment based on interdisciplinary assessments.

• Provide crisis intervention support in situations where patients require immediate assistance, ensuring timely and compassionate care during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, effectively guiding them to appropriate resources and supports.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations and professional development activities, focusing on trauma-informed care practices and enhancing your competencies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, incorporating findings into therapeutic practices for improved patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients are primarily individuals who have experienced trauma, ranging from childhood abuse to significant life events resulting in PTSD or other trauma-related disorders. You will provide essential support to a diverse patient population, promoting healing and resilience through culturally sensitive care tailored to the specific needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington is essential.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed care modalities, and techniques for fostering resilience.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient interactions.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications relevant to clinical documentation and telehealth services.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, specifically working with trauma-impacted populations, is preferred.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that engage patients effectively in their treatment journey.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations while remaining calm and composed to support patients during difficult times.

Compensation and Benefits\n
