Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify personalized treatment strategies.

• Design and collaborate on individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and long-term wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient healing.

• Facilitate dynamic individual and group therapy sessions, engaging clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients feel safe and acknowledged.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available mental health resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in alignment with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and case consultations focused on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay current with emerging research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients affected by trauma who seek to rebuild their lives in a nurturing environment. The diverse patient population includes individuals coping with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a vital role in guiding these clients toward personal empowerment and healing, helping them navigate the challenges they face.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Possession of a strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress situations and support clients through crises effectively.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and applicable computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma survivors in a clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
