Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, strengths, and needs, enabling the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in their recovery journey.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to explore their trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure an integrated treatment approach, optimizing each patient’s care.

• Respond to crisis situations with appropriate interventions, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to aid in recovery.

• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops related to trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and clinical practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving a diverse population of clients affected by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. You will engage with individuals spanning various age groups, backgrounds, and life experiences, working strategically to empower them on their journey toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on trauma-informed treatment preferred.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities, particularly in resilience-building approaches.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress environments, utilizing effective problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other cloud-based communication tools.

• A commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for patients.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
