Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own space while connecting meaningfully with patients through telehealth services. We uphold a strong commitment to maintaining personal well-being and work-life balance, with structured hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While most of your schedule may remain consistent, some flexibility will be required to accommodate patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and develop an understanding of their psychological needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are focused on recovery, resilience-building, and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Administer specialized interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support client healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to explore their experiences and develop coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic and integrated care for patients.

• Respond to trauma-related emergencies with appropriate crisis intervention techniques and emotional support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them to utilize available resources effectively.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) in alignment with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Blue Bliss Counseling Services, you will primarily work with individuals affected by trauma, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our diverse patient population includes children, adolescents, and adults, each looking for guidance and support in navigating their emotional and psychological challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage high-stress situations effectively.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computer applications.
\n
• Proven capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with evidence-based trauma therapies and demonstrating a proficient understanding of psychological assessments in a clinical setting will enhance your candidacy. Familiarity with various trauma recovery frameworks, alongside a demonstrable ability to engage patients in diverse therapeutic modalities, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
