Work Environment\n

This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing for flexible working arrangements that can cater to both client needs and therapist schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' mental health statuses and trauma histories, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize each client's trauma recovery journey and resilience-building strategies.

• Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma experiences and developing healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with fellow health professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated treatment approach for all clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during traumatic emergencies, ensuring clients have immediate and effective assistance when needed.

• Offer education to clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources, enhancing their understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, and participate in case consultations and team meetings to foster continuous improvement in care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to contribute to personal and organizational excellence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to childhood abuse, domestic violence, and other traumatic life events. You will engage with a diverse population of clients, actively supporting them in developing tools for resilience and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in the state of California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
\n
• A foundational understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that reflect a compassionate approach.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and relevant software tools.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds, a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in trauma-focused therapies is preferred. Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings will be advantageous, as will familiarity with interdisciplinary collaboration.
