Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate relevant treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), adapting techniques to meet specific patient needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing, coping strategy development, and emotional processing of trauma.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure all-encompassing care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support when dealing with trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families about their trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on serving a diverse population of trauma survivors, including individuals facing PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in the state of Washington as either an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW .

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-focused modalities.

• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, showing empathy and a non-judgmental approach.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
