Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history effectively.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, integrating various evidence-based approaches tailored to client needs.

• Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring that sessions are impactful and supportive.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities that encourage processing of trauma and aid in the development of practical coping strategies.

• Engage in collaborative care by communicating regularly with psychiatrists and other professionals to provide integrated support for each patient.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, prevention strategies, and available resources, bolstering their tools for recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with ethical standards and professional guidelines.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices and research in trauma therapy.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of assault, abuse, and other life-altering events. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• Demonstrated strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological applications.
\n
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage high-stress situations.

• A commitment to collaboration and teamwork, emphasizing the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to mental health care.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with extensive training in trauma-specific therapy modalities will be prioritized. Experience in working within a telehealth framework is also a beneficial asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
