Holistic Mental and Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a therapist who thrives in a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while ensuring a consistent and structured approach to patient care. Your standard work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on fostering resilience and promoting healing in trauma recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective coping mechanisms.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process trauma experiences, develop constructive coping strategies, and achieve their treatment goals.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Respond to crisis situations, providing immediate support for trauma-related emergencies, and guide patients through their initial recovery needs.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping strategies, empowering them to utilize available resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest quality of care.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices related to trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The patient population will include diverse backgrounds, offering you the opportunity to employ culturally sensitive and adaptable therapeutic methods.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a current, valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly with trauma-focused therapeutics.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.
\n
• Ability to effectively manage high-stress situations while providing calm, supportive care.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• A proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team-focused environment.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who bring a strong foundation in trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Familiarity with EMDR and TF-CBT techniques will be highly regarded, as will experience working with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
