Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, which inform individualized treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate engaging group sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a fully integrated treatment approach for every patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, guiding patients through traumatic emergencies with expertise and empathy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid licensing credential as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong familiarity with trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our offered salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
