This role is performed remotely, empowering therapists to manage their schedules while maintaining a productive work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to their specific trauma histories.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and emotional growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), guiding patients through structured therapeutic processes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive space for patients to articulate their trauma experiences and learn coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide holistic care, enhancing treatment outcomes through integrated services.

• Manage crisis situations with compassion, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in compliance with legal standards and organizational policies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in New Jersey.

• 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and healing methodologies.

• Proficient knowledge of trauma-focused therapies, including certifications in EMDR or TF-CBT being a significant advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor capable of fostering trust in a virtual therapeutic setting.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, providing a stable presence for patients in crisis.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other electronic tools necessary for efficient practice management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
