Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and outline appropriate therapeutic modalities.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients process their trauma narratives, develop coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Coordinating with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, integrated care for patients.

• Offering crisis intervention and support for clients during acute trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, enhancing their understanding of the healing process.

• Maintaining precise, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population primarily consisting of trauma survivors, including individuals dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will guide you in supporting these individuals as they navigate the often challenging pathways of recovery and healing.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Strong empathetic listening skills and a passionate commitment to supporting trauma survivors.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications to document care and facilitate communication.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have:

Compensation and Benefits\n
