Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health statuses through video consultations or face-to-face meetings at our outpatient office.

• Develop personalized therapy plans addressing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorders, and eating disorders.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive techniques that cater to the unique needs of each client.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt therapeutic interventions as needed to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide referrals to additional healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or social workers, when clients require more comprehensive support.

• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, each facing unique mental health challenges. This includes adolescents and adults experiencing mood disorders, PTSD, substance abuse issues, and family dynamics. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, and you will provide them with the tools necessary to overcome their difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
