Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial interviews, actively listening to clients’ concerns to document clinical histories effectively.

• Develop tailored intervention and treatment plans targeting clients’ specific mental, behavioral, and emotional health challenges using evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open dialogue, personal growth, and healing in a safe environment.

• Monitor client progress consistently by analyzing treatment outcomes and making necessary adjustments to care plans as progress is made or obstacles arise.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create and enhance comprehensive treatment strategies for patients.

• Provide necessary referrals to specialized services and coordinate follow-up care for clients transitioning between various levels of treatment.

• Support and advise family members and primary caregivers on effectively managing mental health challenges, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
