Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Engage in continuous communication with physicians and other healthcare team members to share patient progress, addressing needs and concerns efficiently.

• Document client interactions and maintain accurate, timely clinical notes in accordance with department policies, ensuring compliance and fostering quality care.
\n
• Collaborate in creating comprehensive treatment plans, which include discharge planning, grounded in psychosocial assessments and widely accepted therapeutic interventions.

• Provide crisis intervention services and engage in comprehensive assessments and treatments tailored to address emotional and behavioral challenges faced by clients.
\n
• Facilitate discharge planning and care coordination for clients, collaborating with various regional providers to streamline access to necessary services.

• Consult with clients’ families or support systems to ensure holistic treatment and effective discharge planning.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• A valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent.

• A minimum of three years of demonstrable experience in an outpatient mental health setting.

• A strong background in delivering evidence-based mental health treatment and services.

• The ability to work autonomously, demonstrating self-direction and exceptional organizational skills.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly with MS Office and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of three years in outpatient settings is mandatory, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities or experience in case management will be preferred. Familiarity with telehealth best practices or prior experience in a fully remote role can set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits\n
