Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to create a comfortable and distraction-free environment from which to conduct sessions. While our outpatient office is located in San Francisco, California, you will have the flexibility to connect with clients across the country. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while serving our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status, establish rapport, and understand their unique needs.

• Craft personalized therapy plans based on evidence-based practices and individual patient goals.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions (individual and group) utilizing inclusive therapeutic techniques tailored to the specific circumstances and backgrounds of clients.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure optimum outcomes and address evolving needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing referrals to psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals when additional support is required.

• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay updated on the latest therapeutic modalities and mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from varied backgrounds and present a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. Your experience working with diverse populations will be integral to your success in this role, as you will use culturally responsive approaches to meet each client's specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is essential.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, new hires may qualify for a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
