Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to assess client needs and document case histories accurately from initial consultation to treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health to establish baselines for tailored treatment interventions.
\n
• Develop individualized intervention plans based on collaborative discussions with clients, considering their unique circumstances and needs.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices while monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed.

• Maintain ongoing communication with psychiatrists and medical professionals, particularly for clients requiring hospital admission or multi-disciplinary support.

• Identify and mitigate potential obstacles to recovery, coaching clients and their families on effective strategies to enhance mental well-being.

• Document treatment progress consistently in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring transparency and accountability in care delivery.

• Manage referrals effectively to appropriate specialists when additional support or services are needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems to ensure streamlined documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n
