Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments by meeting with clients via telehealth platforms to identify their mental health status, concerns, and objectives.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, considering their history, preferences, and clinical needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, equipping clients with coping mechanisms and self-help strategies to foster resilience.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, providing essential feedback and support to ensure ongoing improvement and engagement.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to refer clients to additional resources as necessary.

• Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

• Participate in continuous training and professional development initiatives to stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment and telehealth services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve engaging with a broad range of clients including adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance misuse. Patients may vary in cultural backgrounds and socio-economic situations, allowing you to apply culturally responsive therapeutic approaches and ensure inclusivity in your practice.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating clinical effectiveness and professional growth.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, as well as cultural competence in therapy.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and facilitate effective sessions.
