Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Empower Care, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to determine their needs and create tailored treatment plans.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with staff members about treatment strategies, interventions, and patient care plans during routine meetings such as patient rounds.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities that align with client objectives and best practices.

• Deliver case management support, interacting with community resources and other professionals to ensure holistic care for assigned clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that reflects the care provided and adheres to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Assist families in navigating the complexities of mental health challenges through education, support, and guidance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, providing therapy and counseling services.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
